The Fifth Annual G K Chesterton Walk

On 30th July 2015, Stuart McCullough will be walking from St George’s C of E church on Aubrey Walk, London W8 7JG to Shepherd’s Lane cemetery in Beaconsfield in honour of G K Chesterton who was baptised at St George’s and is buried in Beaconsfield. He will set off at 8am and arrive at Shepherd’s Lane at around 8-9pm.

‘He’? Not just him. This writer has accompanied Stuart on his epic journey for the last two years and is looking forward to doing so again. And not only him but also a group of other fans of ‘GKC’ and friends who like long walks as well. If you are one such person, you are very welcome to join the party for either the whole journey or a part of it.

Stuart is undertaking the walk in order to raise funds for the Good Counsel Network. When we arrive at Shepherd’s Lane, prayers will be said for Chesterton and that the Church will see fit to raise him to the dignity of the altar – to declare him a Saint.

For more details, or if you would like to ask Stuart any questions, see his GKC Walk page on Facebook here.
